Den Haag \u2013 Minister Bussemaker blijkt bijzonder boos te zijn op de directie van de Amarantis scholengroep, zij hekelt het grote graaien en onverantwoorde gedrag van deze bestuurders en managers. Naar aanleiding van een eerste onderzoek draagt ze het Amarantis dossier over aan justitie. Onbekende betalingen van 210.000 euro, een betaling van in totaal 430.000 euro voor een school in Amsterdam Slotervaart die er nooit is gekomen, een salaris van een adviseur van 140.000 euro exclusief onkostenvergoeding plus lease regeling, het gebruiken van twee leaseauto en een ov-jaarkaart door een persoon; het lijkt er sterk op dat bij Amarantis sprake is geweest van vriendjespolitiek en fraude. Een vergelijkbare gang van zake is na de nationalisatie van de SNS bank aan het licht gekomen. Ook daar werden rekeningen van externe adviseurs kunstmatig verhoogd<\/strong>.<\/p>\nToch wil Bussemaker niet meteen met nieuwe wetten komen en gaat een indringende discussie aan met managers en bestuurders die over de schreef gaan.
