De heer Van Schijndel benadrukte dat de concurrentie groot is, ook vanuit het buitenland. &#8220;Wij hebben een transparante bedrijfsvoering waar u precies kunt zien wat onze kosten zijn. Wij blijven erbij dat de rente die wij rekenen fair is naar de consument toe&#8221; Inmiddels is de Vereniging Eigen Huis ook bezig met een petitie. Ondanks de lage rente op de markt betaalt de consument nu juist veel meer.
